Bare Minimum Lux

This clothing brand was founded by LaDyra Lyte and Lakiya Ealy on March 24th, 2021. Both from Detroit, MI and are Central Michigan University Alumna, graduating with B.A.A.'s in Fashion Design.

The goal was to  mutually create an Innovative, Simplistic, and Minimalistic brand that emphasizes how their aesthetics mesh as well as counteract their typical designer preferences. So with the feminine, bold, lavish and sexy evening wear of KealyCollection and the bold, avant-garde, innovative, and androgynous style of Lyte, they birthed, BML.

Bare Minimum Lux is a Detroit-based brand that prides itself in the fashionable culture of Detroit as a luxury style streetwear. Construction within the BML brand, mostly, utilizes knits and simple silhouettes as well as their branded color scheme that they’ve called “Ebony Melanins”. Their color scheme includes all shades of melanin, as well as undertone colors such as yellow, red, blue, and green.
